Appellate Guide

We wrote this online guide to the appellate process to educate readers about the appellate process in Washington. This is not and cannot be a comprehensive guide. The most authoritative guide is Washington’s Rules of Appellate Procedure. Another very useful source is the Washington Appellate Practice Deskbook, available at many County Law Libraries or for purchase through the Washington State Bar Association.
