Cheryl Ann Dickerhoof was born in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, and attended the University of Colorado, where she obtained a degree in Psychology and graduated in the top 10% of her class. She moved to Washington to attend law school at the University of Puget Sound (now Seattle University) School of Law.

Ms. Dickerhoof joined Wiggins & Masters as a paralegal in April 2004. She assists our attorneys with all aspects of appeals from the notice of appeal through the mandate and, where necessary, with post-mandate proceedings. Ms. Dickerhoof orders any needed transcripts and aids in designating the clerk's papers. As the record is completed, she prepares summaries for the attorneys' use. She assists with brief writing and preparing the attorneys for oral argument. After a successful appeal, she drafts the cost bill and the attorney's fee petition.

Ms. Dickerhoof obtained her J.D., cum laude, in 1991. She was an active member of the Moot Court Board during law school, and vice-chaired the board during her final academic year. Ms. Dickerhoof worked as an attorney in the personal injury field for approximately 8 years before she began to focus her attentions as a paralegal for a busy employment-law practice. After 4 years in that field, she switched her focus to appellate work and joined this firm.
